LCT Info—Who are we?

The La Crosse Community Theatre has been a La Crosse tradition since 1963. We produce seven shows during our September through June season. Our five Mainstage shows include two musicals, two comedies, and a drama. We also produce a two-play Youth Theatre series with children performing for children.

La Crosse Community Theatre is a member of the American Association of Community Theatre and the Wisconsin Association of Community Theatre.


Professional Staff

Our professional staff includes an Artistic/Managing Director, Business Manager, Development Director, Scenic Designer/Tech Director, Costume Designer, Education Director, and Box Office Supervisor.

These friendly and dedicated people will make your theatre experience a pleasant one.

Staff Biographies

Allen Ebert photo Allen Ebert, Executive Director

Allen received his undergraduate Theatre Degree at the University of Wisconsin– Madison. He has enjoyed being a director, actor and an acting instructor with the following companies: The National High School Theatre Institute at Northwestern University, Sun Prairie Civic Theatre, Menomonee Falls Patio Players, US Army Kaiserslautern Community Theatre–Germany, US Army Community Theatre– Vicenza, Italy, CTM Madison Family Theatre Company, Firststage Milwaukee, Madison Repertory Theatre and Center Stage, New York. Allen and his wife, Karen, love red wine and everything Italian. They also enjoy the outdoors, scrabble, the Badgers, the Packers, cycling and golf. E-mail Allen

Dillon is a recent graduate of Viterbo University where he received a BFA in technical production and design. He is excited to be here at La Crosse Community Theatre and hopes to create beautiful art for all to be a part of and enjoy. E-mail Dillon

Lori developed the curriculum for our First Stage and Act series of classes. She also has been our primary instructor for these classes as well as the Guest Director for most of our Youth Theatre productions. Lori loves theatre, movies, and New York. E-mail Lori

Eric Severson photo Eric Severson, Box Office Supervisor

Eric grew up in the La Crosse area and is glad to be back after decades of adventure. These include attending college; marrying his adorable wife, Ellen; being a father to their snake-loving teen daughter, Jo; editing fantasy fiction novels; attending theological school; creating catalogs for an area publisher; and volunteering for local nonprofits. He credits LCT’s radio play “The Lost World” with tapping a desire to overcome his wallflower-ness. Mandy Parmeter, Costume Designer

Mandy is originally from Aberdeen, S.D. She received her bachelor’s degree in music education from Northern State University. While there, she discovered her passion for theatre. After a year of teaching music, she relocated to Lincoln, Neb., to study costume design. She received her MFA in costume design in May 2005 and has been freelance designing and teaching. Her work has taken her from Oklahoma to Washington, Virginia, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. E-mail Mandy
