Daniel Schneider

Daniel is a retired vocational rehabilitation counselor currently working as a staff trainer at Riverfront, La Crosse. Daniel has been seen on the LCT stage in Cotton Patch Gospel (Vocals/Band) and Pump Boys and Dinettes. Daniel enjoys singing, guitar playing and taking walks with his wife. He would like to thank his family for being supportive and the fun loving LCT staff.

Amanda Grimsled Wiese
Guenevere

Amanda is LCT’s box office supervisor and a graduate of the UW-La Crosse theatre department with a degree in performance and management. This is Amanda’s 3rd LCT production, preceded by The Producers and The Sound of Music, and she is thrilled to be getting back on stage. Amanda would like to thank her husband, Jared, for being so supportive and such a good sport (“Bark!”).

Anthony J. Rodriguez*

Anthony is a Beach Body coach and teacher at Task Karate who is making his LCT debut. He has been seen elsewhere in Searching for David’s Heart and West Side Story. He would like to thank his wife, Erin, “without you I’d die of boredom.”

Tom Desjarlais
Pellinore

Tom is a sales representative at Collins Outdoor Advertising who as been seen here at LCT in Escanaba in Da Moonlight (Ranger Tom) and has been seen elsewhere in The Fantasticks (Bell). Tom enjoys golf and says to his fellow actors, “Sing your heart out, play to the back of the theatre, enjoy the moment.”

J. Michael Hartigan
Merlyn

Michael is a retired Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center Neonatologist who has been seen on the LCT stage in many shows, including The Diary of Anne Frank (Otto Frank) and Inherit the Wind (Matthew) and has many credits elsewhere, including UW-La Crosse and Caledonia, MN’s The Barn. Michael enjoys the creativity, challenge and vulnerability of being on stage, along with the chance to explore the human condition. He would like to thank his parents for instilling a love for the arts and Vicki for allowing him to pursue that love.

Karissa Lade
Nimue

Karissa is a junior at Viterbo University working on her BFA in musical theatre. Krissa was seen at LCT in last season’s Something’s Afoot (Lettie) and has been seen most recently at Viterbo in Assassins (Squeaky Fromme). Karissa likes working at LCT because “everyone is so friendly!!”

Ryan is a Viterbo alumnus currently working as a teller at State Bank Financial, making his LCT stage debut. He has been seen elsewhere in The Rocky Horror Show (Narrator) and The Importance of Being Earnest (Algernon). Ryan enjoys blogging, running, philosophy and avant-garde cinema. He would like to thank his La Crosse family for all their love and support.

Mary Leigh Christine

Mary is a recent Viterbo graduate with a BFA in musical theatre who has been seen on the LCT stage in The Producers (Ulla) and elsewhere in The Rocky Horror Show (Columbia) and Blithe Spirit (Edith). Mary Leigh enjoys cleaning, sleeping, singing and ballet. She would like to thank her parents, Mike and Jodie, Tom Sturino and Greg.

Dennis Dorman*

Dennis is the director of compressor technology and development at Trane Company and is making his LCT stage debut. In his spare time, Dennis is a hockey coach for River City Youth Hockey and is involved in the choir at Roncalli Newman Center. He enjoys the exciting atmosphere of the theatre and would like to thank his wife, Ellie.

Ben is the assistant manager at Bodega Brew Pub and is making his LCT debut. His hobbies include physical activity “in any way, shape, or form.”

Chritopher is a landscape contractor who has been seen on the LCT stage in Into the Woods (Baker) and The Producers (Ensemble). Christopher enjoys theatre because every show, production, even each performance is unique and a moment captured in time. He would like to thank his wife, Cathy, for her love and support.

Jennifer is a paralegal at Murphy Law Office and has been seen on the LCT stage in HONK! (Ida) and Something’s Afoot (Miss Tweed). In her spare time Jennifer enjoys kitting at the Fitting Knit Shop and is in the choir at Christ Episcopal Church. She enjoys theatre because it is a “welcome relief from reality.” Jennifer would like to thank Brian and Jane Murphy, and my mom and dad- “Told you those voice lessons would pay off!”

Emily is a recent Luther College graduate in music education currently working at Kwik Trip as a NSF assistant. Emily was last seen on the LCT stage in Packer Fans from Outer Space (Peggy Kiester). She enjoys theatre because of the opportunity to get to know and perform with amazing and extremely talented individuals. Emily would like to thank her family and friends for always encouraging her to pursue new and exciting opportunities.

Nicole is recently relocated from San Francisco and is making her LCT stage debut after working the light board for Jake’s Women. She enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling and photography and likes the “jump-right in, hands-on experiences” she’s been given at LCT. Nicole would like to thank her family and friends who have supported her “bucket list” endeavors.

Eric Severson*

Eric is a part-time office administrator at a local congregation. He also puts in hours in LCT’s box office, so he may look familiar. Years ago he played a stuffy old Brit in the radio play The Lost World with his daughter, Jo. He and his wife, Ellen, enjoy singing together and texting one another from across the room. Eric thanks Jo for her enthusiasm, Ellen for her support, his mom for teaching him to appreciate artistry, his dad for teaching him to swing an ax, and the LCT staff for their flexibility.

Allan J. Johnson

Allan is a long-time employee of Quillin’s. He has been seen at LCT in The Producers (Ensemble) and She Loves Me (Bus Boy). Allan’s hobbies include going for walks, cooking and watching football (go 49ers!) Allan would like to thank Mom-n-Dad and Tom for “the support you give me for the theatre.”

Jared is an Air Force reservist who is making his LCT, and theatre, debut. Jared enjoys theatre because “it’ll surprise the Green Berets and Tridents when they find out I’m in a musical.” Jared would like to thank his wife, Amanda, who is “helping me discover my artistic personality.”

Jeff Copsey
Castor

Jeff is retired from the Navy and has been seen at LCT in She Loves Me (Mr. Marachek) and Harvey (Judge Gaffney). Jeff enjoys poker and pool and enjoys how, in theatre, a group of people with no common bonds can quickly become a family. Jeff would like to thank his family, who told him to “put up or shut up” and audition already.

Jen is the Director of Alumni Relations at Viterbo University and has been seen on the LCT stage in She Loves Me (Amalia) and The Producers (Ensemble). Jen says: “LCT has become like a second family for me and Ken. We’re happy to be a part of this great organization.” Jen would like to thank “Greg, for entrusting me with a sword, and Ken, for supporting me in everything I do.”

Hanna Fernandes

Hannah is a freshman at Central High School who has been seen on the LCT stage in shows including Cinderella (Narrator) and Babes in Toyland (Little Miss Muffet). Hannah enjoys singing, dancing, and acting. She likes theatre because of the different characters she gets to play and the close-knit families that are formed. Hannah would like to thank her family, friends, the entire creative production team and cast, and her mom and dad: “I love you guys!”

Irene Kelly

Irene is in the 9th grade at Logan High School who has been seen at LCT in Cinderella (Evil Stepsister) and It’s a Wonderful Life (Janie Bailey). Irene enjoys playing violin, dancing, and creative writing. She likes theatre and how close the cast becomes; “it’s like having a second family that argues less.” Irene would like to thank everyone in the cast and crew “for being so fun!”

Colleen Gran*
Lady of the Court

Colleen is a phlebotomist at Gundersen Lutheran Medial Center and is making her LCT debut. You may have seen her in the cast of The Rocky Horror Show (Ensemble) at the Muse Theatre. Colleen’s hobbies include Middle Eastern dancing and singing in the Roncalli Newman Center choir. Colleen would like to thank her mom, sister and family, boyfriend, Jaye, God and Vicki Elwood, “for helping me get back to theatre!”

Brenna is a junior at Houston High School who was last seen on the LCT stage in She Loves Me (Ensemble). You may also recognize her from Appleseed Theatre’s The Fantasticks (Luisa) and Seussical (Birdgirl). Brenna’s hobbies include dance, speech and theatre. Mac is in the 7th grade at Logan Middle School who has been seen at LCT in 101 Dalmations (Chihuahua). His hobbies include football, baseball and show choir, and he likes theatre because “you don’t have to be yourself, you can go into another world.” Mac would like to thank his mom and dad for supporting him in everything he does.

Annelise is in the 8th grade at Lincoln Middle School and has been seen on LCT’s stage in HONK! (Penny) and The Sound of Music (Louisa). Annelise enjoys reading, watching movies, dancing and singing. She would like to thank the Kelly family for lessons, laughs and memorable performance opportunities, and the ‘Theatre Girls’; “We’ve come a long way since River City!”

Drew is an 8th grader at Onalaska Middle School who is making his LCT debut. He enjoys show choir and singing and enjoys theatre because “you can be yourself and yet be someone so different.” Drew would like to thank his Aunt Stacy, for getting him into theatre and everything music.

Jordan is in the 10th grade at La Crescent High School and is making her LCT debut. She has been seen elsewhere in Little Women (Jo) and The Fantasticks (Mortimer). Along with theatre, she enjoys dance, piano and acting. Jordan would like to thank her family and friends.

Stage Manager

Kyle is a daycare provider in La Crosse who has staged managed may LCT productions, including last season’s The Producers. His hobbies include poetry, reading, his family and LCT. Kyle likes theatre because of “the power of a group of like-minded individuals that come together and create entertainment. Kyle would like to thank Julie and Lily, and the theatre staff for their infinite patience.

Ken Schelper
Music Director

Ken is a sales associate at SSE Music whose work you may have seen this season as assistant music director for She Loves Me and assistant director for Escanaba in Da Moonlight. He is also active in directing and musical direction at Appleseed Community Theatre. Ken enjoys working at LCT because “people from all walks of life, all ages, and all levels of talent are welcomed and invited to come and be a part of something special.” Ken would like to thank Jen for all of her constant support.

Jen Wilkinson
Choreographer

Jen teaches Spanish at Central High School and has been choreographing shows at LCT since 1994, including The Producers, State Fair, and Anything Goes. Jen enjoys walking her dogs (Bandito and Moose), reading, and “cuddling with my hubby!” She likes working at LCT because of the wonderful staff, volunteers, and actors that “make this feel like a second family” and the positive and fun atmosphere. Jen would like to thank her husband, Chad, for “supporting my theatre habit and being ok with me being gone every evening – Love you!”

Sean McDevitt
Assistant Director

Sean is employed by APAC in La Crosse and is a graduate of Rancho Santiago Professional Actors Conservatory in California. Sean has been seen in Driving Miss Daisy (Boolie) and She Loves Me (Sipos) this season at LCT and directed the staged reading of Frost/Nixon for the LCT ’10-’11 Patrons Pick event. Sean is our official season videographer and you can find many of his videos on YouTube. Sean would like to thank Greg for this opportunity and his father, Steve, who recently retired after 36 years as a theatre arts professor.

April Brown*
Assistant Stage Manager

April is a corporate quality analyst at APAC and has her BFA in theatre from Arkansas State University. April is making her LCT debut, but has staged managed for the Commonweal Theatre and Peach State Summer Theatre. She enjoys singing, reading and theatre because of the “collaborative spirit.” April would like to thank Trevor and Maya.

Kevin Laumbach
Sound Designer

Kevin has been seen on the LCT stage as Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors and as Franz Liebkind in The Producers, as well as co-sound designing that show. His hobbies include gardening, sewing, and music mixing. His favorite thing about theatre is “the thrill of stepping out on that stage and connecting with the audience; there is nothing else like it.” Kevin wishes to thank David for putting up with his craziness and his mom for always encouraging him to shoot for the stars.

Tami J. Wolden
Props Coordinator

Tami works at Franciscan Skemp and is an active LCT volunteer. Tami’s credits here at LCT include assistant director of The Producers and stage manager of Godspell. She appeared as Maureen/Snowy/Lowbutt in this year’s production of HONK! She also has been involved at The Pumphouse Regional Arts Center, Appleseed Community Theatre, and Lincoln Middle School. Tami enjoys travel, fiber arts, and movies and would like to thank Mark “for his continuing support and understanding about my theatre habit(s).”

Tim Harris
Assistant Technical Director

Tim has been seen on the LCT stage in Something’s Afoot (Col. Gilweather) and To Kill a Mockingbird (Mr. Gilmer) is active in many other facets of LCT. In his spare time he enjoys camping and disc golf and enjoys LCT because of the continued commitment to arts. Tim would like to thank his parents and friends for their continued support.

Greg Parmeter
Artistic Director

Greg earned his MFA from the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Professional acting credits include seasons with the Nebraska Repertory Theatre, the Virginia Shakespeare Festival, the Northern Fort Playhouse in South Dakota, and a tour with the Hampstead Stage Company, a children’s theatre based in New Hampshire. Previously, Greg taught elementary special education, worked as the Technical Director for Aberdeen Central High School, and as an instructor and director with T.O.Y.Box Children’s Theatre.

Dillon McArdle
Technical Director/Set/Lighting/Sound Designer

Dillon is from Minneapolis but grew up in Las Vegas. He received a bachelor of arts degree in technical production and design from Viterbo University. Professional credits include the Great River Shakespeare Festival in Winona, Minn., the Virginia Shakespeare Festival in Williamsburg, Va., and the Commonweal Theatre Company in Lanesboro, Minn. Dillon thanks all the volunteers who have given countless hours of time and, most of all, his wife, Megan, who supports him in every way.

Mandy Parmeter
Costume Designer, Costume Supervisor

Mandy is in her 3rd season here at LCT and is originally from Aberdeen, S.D. She received her bachelor’s degree in music education from Northern State University, where she discovered a passion for theatre. After a year of teaching music, she moved to Lincoln, Neb., to study costume design. She received her MFA in costume design in May 2005. Her work has taken her from Oklahoma to Washington, Virginia, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. Mandy and Greg have recently celebrated the birth of their son Benjamin in October and look forward to him growing up in the La Crosse Community.

Hal Keitel
Interim Managing Director

Hal has worn many hats in his career. He started in education—as a high school teacher, guidance counselor and principal. Next he worked for the Aetna Insurance company, as a Regional Manager and Assistant VP of International Operations. Following that, he established an independent insurance agency in the Madison area, The Keitel Group. Prior to his retirement, Hal served as Development Director at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. In his Rotary life, Hal served as club president (3 different clubs), Assistant District Governor, District Foundation Chair, and most recently, District Governor in 2006–07. He continues to serve on the Board of Directors of Columbus Chemical, Inc.

Lori Portner
Education Director, Director - Jake's Women

Lori is originally from Chicago but has spent most of her life in the Coulee Region. She received her BA in Theatre, Speech Communication and English from UW-La Crosse. Through the years she has directed over 60 shows and has had the privilege of teaching countless students of all ages about theatre. Lori thanks all her students for the hard work, dedication and joy they bring to LCT. She would especially like to thank her amazing son, Blais, for his years of support. Love to B, R and Sea Monkey.
