Suzanne Young
Miss Daisy Werthan
Suzanne is a veteran of the LCT stage, having made her stage debut in 1967’s Where’s Charley? More recently Suzanne has been seen on our stage as Mrs. Banks in Barefoot in the Park and in the title role of Mame and she has been seen locally as Amanda in See Jane Vote at The Pump House Regional Arts Center. When not on the stage Suzanne enjoys gardening, bicycling and knitting. Suzanne would like to thank her mother, Frances Young, “who is an inspiration for Miss Daisy.”

William E. Hicks
Hoke Coleburn
William is an employee of Able Inc. and Great Lakes Cheese Co. of Wisconsin and was last seen on the LCT stage as Shorty, Scotty and Fritz in Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus. William’s hobbies include acting and singing karaoke and what he likes most about LCT is getting together with other in the La Crosse area and meeting new, exciting people in the community. William would like to thank his girlfriend, Julie, his family and most of all Jesus “thank you all for your love and patience.”

Sean McDevitt
Boolie Werthan
Sean holds a degree in Theatre Arts from Victor Valley College in California, is a graduate of the Professional Actors Conservatory at Rancho Santiago College and is currently employed at APAC in La Crosse. Sean has been seen in a number of LCT productions including Women of Lockerbie as George and A Christmas Carol as Marley. His hobbies include creating videos on the website YouTube and he describes LCT as “an organization that has changed my life.” Sean would like to thank his wife, Robin, for her continued love and support and “my friend, Greg Parmeter.”

Jeff Copsey
Stage Manager
Jeff is a retiree of the US Navy who has been seen on the LCT stage as Judge Gaffney in Harvey and as Officer Barrel in Urinetown as well as having been seen locally at Appleseed Community Theatre, Holman Community Theatre and The Pump House. In his free time Jeff plays poker and bridge and likes to talk about his grandkids. His favorite thing about LCT is “whether it’s your first show or your fifty-first, within 15 minutes, you’re family.” Jeff would like to thank his family, who “prodded me to audition for the first time.”

Leslie Bates
Costume Designer
Leslie is a senior at Logan High School and will be beginning her studies at the University of Michigan for a BFA in Theatre Design and Production this fall. Leslie has been active here at LCT as a member of the backstage and costume construction crews for The Producers and as sound designer for Escanaba in Da Moonlight, and has worked as costume coordinator for The Fantasticks at Appleseed Community Theatre. In her spare time Leslie is involved in Quiz Bowl and enjoys rollerblading and movies. She would like to thank her family for their support.

Kevin Laumbach
Sound Designer
Kevin has been seen on the LCT stage as Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors and as Franz Liebkind in The Producers, as well as co-sound designing that show. His hobbies include gardening, sewing, and music mixing. His favorite thing about theatre is “the thrill of stepping out on that stage and connecting with the audience; there is nothing else like it.” Kevin wishes to thank David for putting up with his craziness and his mom for always encouraging him to shoot for the stars.

Hal Keitel
Interim Managing Director
Hal has worn many hats in his career. He started in educationas a high school teacher, guidance counselor and principal. Next he worked for the Aetna Insurance company, as a Regional Manager and Assistant VP of International Operations. Following that, he established an independent insurance agency in the Madison area, The Keitel Group. Prior to his retirement, Hal served as Development Director at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. In his Rotary life, Hal served as club president (3 different clubs), Assistant District Governor, District Foundation Chair, and most recently, District Governor in 200607. He continues to serve on the Board of Directors of Columbus Chemical, Inc.

Greg Parmeter
Artistic Director, Director
Greg earned his MFA from the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Professional acting credits include seasons with the Nebraska Repertory Theatre, the Virginia Shakespeare Festival, the Northern Fort Playhouse in South Dakota, and a tour with the Hampstead Stage Company, a children’s theatre based in New Hampshire. Previously, Greg taught elementary special education, worked as the Technical Director for Aberdeen Central High School, and as an instructor and director with T.O.Y.Box Children’s Theatre.

Lori Portner
Education Director
Lori is originally from Chicago but has spent most of her life in the Coulee Region. She received her BA in Theatre, Speech Communication and English from UW-La Crosse. Through the years she has directed over 60 shows and has had the privilege of teaching countless students of all ages about theatre. Lori thanks all her students for the hard work, dedication and joy they bring to LCT. She would especially like to thank her amazing son, Blais, for his years of support. Love to B, R and Sea Monkey.

Dillon McArdle
Technical Director/Set/Lighting/Sound Designer
Dillon is from Minneapolis but grew up in Las Vegas. He received a bachelor of arts degree in technical production and design from Viterbo University. Professional credits include the Great River Shakespeare Festival in Winona, Minn., the Virginia Shakespeare Festival in Williamsburg, Va., and the Commonweal Theatre Company in Lanesboro, Minn. Dillon thanks all the volunteers who have given countless hours of time and, most of all, his wife, Megan, who supports him in every way.

Mandy Parmeter
Costume Designer, Costume Supervisor
Mandy is in her 3rd season here at LCT and is originally from Aberdeen, S.D. She received her bachelor’s degree in music education from Northern State University, where she discovered a passion for theatre. After a year of teaching music, she moved to Lincoln, Neb., to study costume design. She received her MFA in costume design in May 2005. Her work has taken her from Oklahoma to Washington, Virginia, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. Mandy and Greg have recently celebrated the birth of their son Benjamin in October and look forward to him growing up in the La Crosse Community.

Amanda Grimsled Wiese
Box Office Supervisor
Amanda is a La Crosse native and a 2007 graduate of UW-La Crosse, where she earned a degree in Theatre Performance and Stage Management. While at UW-L Amanda performed in 19 productions, stage managed, dramatuged and worked on various other elements of the theatrical process and was a co-founder of the Alpha Psi Omega Theatre FraternityAlpha Psi chapter. Amanda thank alls of the LCT staff and volunteers for their hard work and welcoming spirits, and her family, especially her wonderful and always supportive husband, Jared.
