Jenn Burchell-Bailey

Jenn is a paralegal at Murphy Law Office in La Crosse and is also active in the Christ Episcopal Church choir. Jenn has been seen on the LCT stage as Miss Tweed in Something’s Afoot and as Feste in Twelfth Night. She enjoys theatre because it “lets me be the natural ham that I am.” Jenn would like to thank her husband, Euel for his love and Brian and Jane Murphy for their patience.

Aaron is a junior at La Crescent High School who has been seen in LCT productions including Godspell and Mame and has been seen elsewhere as The Cat in the Hat in Seussical and Danny in Grease. Scott works at Community Credit Union as an MSA. Here at LCT he has been seen onstage in the ensemble of The Producers and his work as choreographer was seen earlier this season in She Loves Me. Elsewhere Scott has been seen in the ensemble of No No Nanette and in the Tribe of Hair and has choreographed for many area show choirs. Scott would like to thank his family for their love and support.

Aaron is a senior UW-La Crosse piano major and is making his LCT stage debut. Aaron is active in the UW-L music department and has been involved there in MTNA, Concert Choir, Mannerchor, Choral Union and Korean Dumming. He likes theatre because it conveys meaningful messages to an audience. Aaron would like to thank his friends and family for their love and support.

Katie is a junior at Viterbo University and works at Culvers in Onalaska. Katie has been seen on the LCT stage in the ensemble of School House Rock Live! Jr. and has been seen in West Salem High School’s summer musicals, her favorite being the role of Belle in Beauty and the Beast. Katie says she enjoys theatre because she loves becoming a different person when on the stage. She wishes to thank her mom and dad, “I wouldn’t be here without them. Thanks for supporting me.”

Tami works at Franciscan Skemp and is an active LCT volunteer who is making her stage debut. Tami’s credits here at LCT include assistant director of The Producers and stage manager of Godspell. She has also been involved at the Pumphouse, Appleseed Community Theatre and Lincoln Middle School. Tami enjoys travel, fiber arts and movies and would like to thank Mark “for his continuing support and understand about my theatre habit(s).”

Lindsay is an alumni of UW-La Crosse and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting (NYC). Lindsay is thrilled to join the cast of HONK! in her first LCT performance. Previous roles include The Diary of Anne Frank (Anne), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Hermia), and The Balkan Women (Jela). She was also a part of La Crosse’s staged reading of The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later. Special thanks to the cast and crew of HONK! for being so welcoming and fun!

Annelise is an 8th grader at Lincoln Middle School who has been seen here at LCT as Louisa in The Sound of Music and in the ensemble of A Christmas Carol. She has been seen elsewhere in The Music Man. Annelise enjoys “all the wonderful people!” at LCT and when she’s not onstage likes to dance, read, play piano and bake. Tom is the manager of Emergency Services at Gundersen Lutheran and has been seen here at LCT as Reuben in Escanaba in Da Moonlight and as Walt Cunningham in To Kill a Mockingbird. Tom has also been involved at the Pumphouse and Appleseed Community Theatre. His hobbies are his pets and acting with his daughter, and he enjoys theatre because of “the escape from current reality to other worlds.” Tom would like to thank his family for supporting him.

Kerry Miller

Kerry, originally from La Crosse, is a UCLA graduate, where she received her MFA for Costume Design in Theatre, Film and Television. While in LA, Kerry interned for Deborah Nadoolman Landis, costume designer of Thriller and Indiana Jones, and assisted in editing and researching her upcoming book on Hollywood costume design illustrations. Most recently she had been working on Michael Jackson’s This Is It tour at Muto Little. Kerry has also helped to jumpstart a new course at UCLA in digital rendering for costume design. Kerry would like to thank La Crosse Community Theatre for this wonderful opportunity to work with such a great group of artists.

Diane is a substitute teacher for the La Crosse School District, holds a degree in theatre from Viterbo University and is making her directorial debut at LCT. Diane has been seen onstage at LCT as Miss Maudie in To Kill a Mockingbird and as Olivia in Twelfth Night and elsewhere as Rita in Educating Rita and Elaine in Arsenic and Old Lace. Diane thanks “my fabulous production team and the LCT staff for their support and faith in me. Also my husband, Randy, for his love and support and Emily and Ian for putting up with their mother’s theatre habit!”

Mary Blaha-DeBoer

Mary is a substitute secretary and teacher assistant with the School District of La Crosse. Her LCT credits include co-directing and playing piano for The Sound of Music and Godspell, and playing keyboard for Pippin in Winona. Mary believes that “Community Theatre gives ordinary people the chance to participate in something extraordinary.” She thanks Greg for his support, her husband Don, Amanda and Avery for sharing this experience with her, and the cast, crew and musicians for “stepping outside of themselves to create some magic.”

Anna Smerud

Anna is a music education major at Viterbo University. She previously choreographed Godspell here at LCT and has appeared in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Fiddler on the Roof. Her other credits include Zaneeta in The Music Man. Anna also teaches dance at Misty’s Dance Unlimited. She loves to perform and working with performers. Anna is glad to be involved at LCT and would like to thank her family and friends.

Megan works at the YMCA in La Crosse and is back after stage managing last season’s Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus and performing as Calpurnia in To Kill a Mockingbird. Megan is a graduate of UW-La Crosse where she stage managed Cabaret and The Diary of Anne Frank. In her spare time, she likes to read, watch TV and go to movies. Megan would like to thank everyone she works with, Jerry and the Riverland Crew.

Teena is a recent graduate of Viterbo University with a degree in Theatre Design and Technology. She has worked with Texas Shakespeare Festival in their properties department and with Virginia Shakespeare Festival as their scenic painter. Teena’s credits from Viterbo include scenic designer for Dames at Sea and costume designer for Plague of Angels. This is Teena’s first time working at LCT and is “very grateful that they have decided to bring me on board for this show. The support and excitement has been so encouraging.”

Bonnie Jo Bratina

Bonnie Jo is an associate professor at UW-La Crosse, whose favorite LCT credits include playing Vera Simmons in Harvey and being the properties master for Forever Plaid. Bonnie Jo enjoys reading, gardening and cheering on the Packers and the Brewers. Her favorite things about working at LCT are “using my imagination and creativity” and “all the amazing people I meet and get to work with.” She thanks Morrie for “casting me in my first LCT play and making me a part of this wonderful family.”

Dillon is from Minneapolis but grew up in Las Vegas. He received a bachelor of arts degree in technical production and design from Viterbo University. Professional credits include the Great River Shakespeare Festival in Winona, Minn., the Virginia Shakespeare Festival in Williamsburg, Va., and the Commonweal Theatre Company in Lanesboro, Minn. Dillon thanks all the volunteers who have given countless hours of time and, most of all, his wife, Megan, who supports him in every way.

Mandy Parmeter

Mandy is originally from Aberdeen, S.D. She received her bachelor’s degree in music education from Northern State University, where she discovered a passion for theatre. After a year of teaching music, she moved to Lincoln, Neb., to study costume design. She received her M.F.A. in costume design in May 2005. Her work has taken her from Oklahoma to Washington, Virginia, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. Mandy thanks her husband, Greg, for relocating his life to La Crosse. His support is a true blessing and one of the reasons she loves him so much.

Amanda Grimsled Wiese
Box Office Supervisor
Amanda is a La Crosse native and a 2007 graduate of UW-La Crosse, where she earned a degree in Theatre Performance and Stage Management. While at UW-L Amanda performed in 19 productions, stage managed, dramatuged and worked on various other elements of the theatrical process and was a co-founder of the Alpha Psi Omega Theatre FraternityAlpha Psi chapter. Amanda thank alls of the LCT staff and volunteers for their hard work and welcoming spirits, and her family, especially her wonderful and always supportive husband, Jared.
