Mathew Herman
Jake
Mathew is a bath designer at Gerhard’s Showroom in La Crosse and was last seen at LCT in The Boys Next Door as Arnold. In Los Angeles Mathew has been seen as Dr. Nyizli in The Grey Zone and as Trofimov in The Cherry Orchard. Of LCT he says, “I love that there’s a creative niche in the center of downtown La Crosse that offers fun, creative, energetic life to this town.” Mathew would like to thank Lori for casting him and all of the “women” in his life “for putting up with me,” Diane for giving so much of herself and Rob, “without whom I would have nothing.”

Diane Breeser
Maggie
Diane is a substitute teacher in the La Crosse School District who has been doing theatre here at LCT for 30 years. You may recognize her from shows like To Kill a Mockingbird (Miss Maudie) or Grace and Glorie (Gloria). Diane enjoys writing, reading, walking and teaching theatre classes. She enjoys theatre because of the opportunity to think like someone else and to discover characters by digging deep. Diane would like to thank the wonderful and supportive LCT staff and “my husband, Randy, for running lines with me!”

Bonnie Jo Bratina
Karen
Bonnie Jo is an associate professor of microbiology at UW-La Crosse who has been seen as Chick in Crimes of the Heart on the LCT stage and who’s work you often see though props, including this season’s She Loves Me and HONK! and even back to 1999’s Forever Plaid. In her free time, Bonnie Jo like playing softball, knitting, reading and cheering on the Packers and the Brewers. Bonnie Jo enjoys theatre because of all the “delightfully insane people you meet and work with.” She would like to thank her lab students, who have had to deal with her crazy schedule.

Katie Bowler*
Young Molly
Katie is a 9th grader at Winona Senior High School who is making her LCT debut. Her credits elsewhere include Love’s Labours Lost at Great River Shakespeare Festival and Gloria in Wait Until Dark at Commonweal Theatre. In her free time Katie likes to sing, read and play the violin and she likes doing theatre because of the opportunity to work and play with great people. Katie would like to thank her parents who “drive and support me wherever I go!”

Megan Larson
Older Molly
Megan is a collection specialist who has been seen on the LCT stage in Babe the Sheep Pig as Fly and as the Narrator in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Elsewhere, Megan has been seen as Truvy in Steel Magnolias. Her hobbies include reading, theatre and singing in the shower. Megan enjoys theatre because “no two performances are the same.” She would like to thank her mom, dad and step-dad, Lee. “They have encouraged me to spread my creative wings and fly.”

Brooke Bellehumeur
Julie
Brooke is a recent UW-La Crosse graduate with a degree in physics/astrophysics and is currently a credit services representative at Altra Federal Credit Union. Brooke is new to our stage but has been seen elsewhere as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and as Amaryllis in The Music Man. In her free time, Brooke likes singing, dancing, playing the viola, astronomical observation and successfully solving math problems. Brooke would like to thank her husband, Danny, “you are my rock” and her dad, for “always revealing the truths of the world to me.”

Jill Daumler Pein
Edith
Jill is the MSSC Coordinator at Western Technical College in the Business and Industry Services. Jill was last seen on our stage in Moon Over Buffalo as another Edith (we’re seeing trend!) and has been seen elsewhere in shows such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Sweet Charity and Once Upon a Mattress. In her free time Jill enjoys reading, travel, shopping and cooking and she feels that acting “feeds the soul.” Jill would like to thank her parents “who always encouraged and supported me as an actor” and her family; husband, Rich, daughters Becky and Molly, and son-in-law Justin, “who give me time to do what I love!”

Sheri Eimermann
Sheila
Sheri is currently a full time wife and mother who you may recognize from earlier this season in She Loves Me (Waiter/Ensemble) or last season’s Godspell (Apostle). In her free time, Sheri is involved in Coulee Region Gospel Choir and enjoys reading and cooking. Sheri enjoys theatre because “it’s such a huge family of interconnected people. Very diverse and spirited, but also a bit eccentric and dysfunctional, just like a real family.” Sheri would like to thank her husband, Tim, and children, Wade, Malorie and Mitchell for tolerating her passion for theatre.

Lacie Hexom
Stage Manager
Lacie works at a final product quality inspector at Mt. Borah and is making her Stage Management debut here at LCT after working in the costume and scene shops for HONK! and Driving Miss Daisy. Lacie’s work elsewhere includes Santa Fe Opera as props crafts journeyman and as a properties artist/soft good artist at Arizona Theatre Company. In her free time Lacie enjoys golf, jewelry making and origami. She would like to thank her family for supporting her “through my ‘hard times’.”

Troy Iverson*
Sound Designer
Troy is a mobile DJ for Music in Motion in La Crosse and a first time designer at LCT. His credits at Lanesboro’s Commonweal Theatre include sound design for A Christmas Carol and performances as Sancho Panza in Man of La Mancha and Wally Ferguson in 1940’s Radio Hour. In his free time Troy enjoys music, movies, video games and football and he likes LCT because of the “downtown location and friendly atmosphere.”

Hal Keitel
Interim Managing Director
Hal has worn many hats in his career. He started in educationas a high school teacher, guidance counselor and principal. Next he worked for the Aetna Insurance company, as a Regional Manager and Assistant VP of International Operations. Following that, he established an independent insurance agency in the Madison area, The Keitel Group. Prior to his retirement, Hal served as Development Director at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. In his Rotary life, Hal served as club president (3 different clubs), Assistant District Governor, District Foundation Chair, and most recently, District Governor in 200607. He continues to serve on the Board of Directors of Columbus Chemical, Inc.

Greg Parmeter
Artistic Director
Greg earned his MFA from the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Professional acting credits include seasons with the Nebraska Repertory Theatre, the Virginia Shakespeare Festival, the Northern Fort Playhouse in South Dakota, and a tour with the Hampstead Stage Company, a children’s theatre based in New Hampshire. Previously, Greg taught elementary special education, worked as the Technical Director for Aberdeen Central High School, and as an instructor and director with T.O.Y.Box Children’s Theatre.

Lori Portner
Education Director, Director - Jake's Women
Lori is originally from Chicago but has spent most of her life in the Coulee Region. She received her BA in Theatre, Speech Communication and English from UW-La Crosse. Through the years she has directed over 60 shows and has had the privilege of teaching countless students of all ages about theatre. Lori thanks all her students for the hard work, dedication and joy they bring to LCT. She would especially like to thank her amazing son, Blais, for his years of support. Love to B, R and Sea Monkey.

Dillon McArdle
Technical Director/Set/Lighting/Sound Designer
Dillon is from Minneapolis but grew up in Las Vegas. He received a bachelor of arts degree in technical production and design from Viterbo University. Professional credits include the Great River Shakespeare Festival in Winona, Minn., the Virginia Shakespeare Festival in Williamsburg, Va., and the Commonweal Theatre Company in Lanesboro, Minn. Dillon thanks all the volunteers who have given countless hours of time and, most of all, his wife, Megan, who supports him in every way.

Mandy Parmeter
Costume Designer, Costume Supervisor
Mandy is in her 3rd season here at LCT and is originally from Aberdeen, S.D. She received her bachelor’s degree in music education from Northern State University, where she discovered a passion for theatre. After a year of teaching music, she moved to Lincoln, Neb., to study costume design. She received her MFA in costume design in May 2005. Her work has taken her from Oklahoma to Washington, Virginia, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. Mandy and Greg have recently celebrated the birth of their son Benjamin in October and look forward to him growing up in the La Crosse Community.

Amanda Grimsled Wiese
Box Office Supervisor
Amanda is a La Crosse native and a 2007 graduate of UW-La Crosse, where she earned a degree in Theatre Performance and Stage Management. While at UW-L Amanda performed in 19 productions, stage managed, dramatuged and worked on various other elements of the theatrical process and was a co-founder of the Alpha Psi Omega Theatre FraternityAlpha Psi chapter. Amanda thank alls of the LCT staff and volunteers for their hard work and welcoming spirits, and her family, especially her wonderful and always supportive husband, Jared.
