Karissa Lade

Karissa is a sophomore at Viterbo University and is majoring in music theatre. She has previously performed with The Milwaukee Rep and First Stage Milwaukee and is pleased to be making her LCT debut. She loves musical theatre, celebrity gossip, and trips to Starbucks.

Andrew Manson
Flint,
The Caretaker

Andrew is a history major at Viterbo University and loves to play/watch sports (“Go Cubs this year!”), and spends his time working to get people to vote in November (“Go VOTE!”). His most memorable performances with LCT include the adult Josh Baskin in Big the Musical and Christopher Wren in Mousetrap. He appeared elsewhere as Jimmy in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Malcolm in The Full Monty, and as Jester in Once Upon a Mattress. He says he enjoys LCT because he “can be loud and obnoxious and its OK.”

Nicholas Springer
Clive, The Butler

Nicholas is a sophomore at UW-La Crosse, a dietary supervisor at Franciscan Skemp, and a tutor at Logan Middle School. He enjoys playing sand volleyball at his dorm on campus. Nicholas’ most memorable productions with LCT were as Townsguy in Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood and as Junior Babcock in Mame. He has also co-directed Aladdin Jr. and Willy Wonka Jr. at Aquinas Middle School.

Kelley Bates
Hope Langdon, The Ingénue

Kelley is a Medical Transcriptionist for Gunderson Lutheran. She enjoys Vikings football and Cubs baseball (“this is the year!”). Most recently her performances with LCT include Mayella Ewell in To Kill a Mockingbird and as Molly Ralston in The Mousetrap. She has also appeared elsewhere in a variety of other performances, including Marta in Company at Appleseed, Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Peter in Peter Pan. Kelley loves working with the theatre because it allows her to “leave the world behind, even for a short amount of time.” 

Allan Johnson
Dr. Grayburn, The Family Doctor

Allan works for Quillin’s Foodfest and his most memorable roles with LCT were as Moonface Martin in Anything Goes and in My Fair Lady. He enjoys 49er’s football, walking, and cooking. Allan says that LCT allows the opportunity to “meet old and new actors on stage” and the stage is “another world” for him.

Mike Adank
Nigel Rancour, The Dissolute Nephew

Mike is the Director of Videography at Itechra in Winona. He enjoys punting, hiking, painting, biking, cards, dominoe-ing, swimming, rowing, croquet and Tanqueray. His most memorable performance with LCT was as Tony in You Can’t Take It With You. He has appeared elsewhere as Max in Lend Me A Tenor and as Gary in Noises off and enjoys working in the theatre because it allows him to “escape reality for a few hours every day.”

Janet Reuteler
Lady Grace Manley-Prowe, The Grande Dame

Janet participated in Women of Lockerbie as Hattie with LCT and was able to go to State, Regionals, and Nationals with the cast. Her other most memorable performance with LCT was as Mabel in Pajama Game. She appeared elsewhere as Lilybelle Savage in Curious Savage, as Mrs. White in Clue, the Musical, and in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Janet enjoys singing on her church’s worship team and reading Karen Kingsbury novels.

Tim Harris
Colonel Gillweather, The Old Army Man

Tim is the general manager of Mr. Sandless Wood Floor Refinishing. He enjoys disk golfing, traveling, and watching Chicago Bears football. He most recently appeared with LCT as Mr. Gilmer in To Kill a Mockingbird and he appreciates LCT’s commitment to bringing theatre arts to the area.

Jennifer Marie Burchell
Miss Tweed, The Tweedy, Elderly Amateur Detective

Jennifer is pleased to be making her LCT debut. She made her stage debut at age 10 as a cat in Pied Piper, and has appeared elsewhere as Mabel in Pirates of Penzance, and as Elizabeth in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. Jennifer is active with Christ Episcopal Church and is proud to be a supporter of the La Crosse District Pipes and Drums where she is learning to play the tenor drum. She says that the theatre allows her to be a “natural ham.”

Ken Schelper
Geoffrey, The Juvenile

Ken is a sales associate with SSE Music, La Crosse. He enjoys all kinds of games; board, video, card, parlor, etc. His most recent appearance with LCT was as Matt in Fantasticks. He has appeared elsewhere as Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Jacey Squires in The Music Man, Billy Early in No, No, Nanette, and as Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus. LCT was the first stage he had acted on outside of a school production and Fantasticks gave him “a lot of great memories and he is glad to be back.” 

Mary Blaha-Deboer
Music Director

Mary is a substitute T.A and Secretary with the School District of La Crosse and is a Tastefully Simple Consultant.  She participated in the chorus for Damn Yankees and as the music director for the Sound of Music. She also played the keyboard for Pippin and the piano for Guys and Dolls in productions outside of LCT. She loves to spend time with her husband and daughters and is a cantor at the Newman Center. She enjoys that LCT “gives people of all ages the chance to experience life on the stage and to learn how the magic of theatre is created.” 

Jeff Copsey
Stage Manager

Jeff is retired from the Navy and has been involved with over 40 shows for LCT.  His most memorable performances include his very first role as Harvey in Judge Gaffney and as D.A. Stockard in 7th Monarch. He has also worked with Appleseed Community Theatre, Holmen Community Theatre and the Pumphouse. Jeff likes to play poker, bridge, pool and bowling; all of which he says come “second to the theatre” and he loves to talk about his grandchildren. He says the “openness” of LCT is his favorite thing and that ANYBODY (even he) can audition and act or work with the theatre.

Lindsay Krautkramer
Choreographer

Lindsay is a Sophomore at Viterbo University majoring in Musical Theatre. This is her first production with LCT. She has appeared on-stage as Daisy Mae in Li'l Abner and as Smitty in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, both at Campbellsport Community Theatre. When not doing theatre, Lindsay enjoys dancing, playing piano, singing, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
