Jeremy is a senior at Viterbo University with a double major in musical theatre and arts administration and is making his LCT debut. He has performed in productions at Viterbo University, Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre, and Timberlake Playhouse in Mt. Carroll, Ill. Jeremy enjoys music, movies, and theatre because of “the family that we all become at the end of the process”. He would like to thank his family and friends.

Jen is the director of alumni relations at Viterbo University. She has been seen here at LCT in the ensemble of The Producers and has credits from area theatres including Appleseed Community Theatre and West Salem Community Theatre. Jen loves community theatre “for the friends and family I’ve made.” She would like to thank Ken for his tremendous support and encouragement. 

Michael Kruse

Michael is the formal wear manager at The Wedding Tree and Ace A’ Hearts Tuxedo. He was last seen on the LCT stage as Heck Tate in To Kill A Mockingbird and as Lindsay and Uncle Jeff in Mame. He enjoys singing in a barbershop harmony quartet and designing board games and card games. He enjoys “exploring the new world that each show presents as well as getting to know all of the spectacular people who live in it.” Michael would like to thank friends, family, members of the ‘Aces Wild’ quartet, and his coworkers for “putting up with my ridiculous schedule.”

Mel Carroll*
Ilona Ritter

Mel is a production weaver at Bear Creek Fibers and is making her LCT debut. She has been seen at Area Community Theatre as Donna in The Taffetas and as Libby in I Ought To Be In Pictures. Mel enjoys reading, knitting and other fiber arts, outdoor activities, and likes theatre because of “the family atmosphere that comes when a group of people work so intensely together. You make friends for life.” She would like to thank her supportive mom, wonderful husband, and all her friends and family.

Jeff Copsey
Mr. Maraczek

Jeff is retired from the Navy and enjoys playing poker, bridge, and pool. He has been seen on the LCT stage as Judge Gaffney in Harvey and as The Doctor in Cash on Delivery. Jeff’s favorite thing about theatre is taking a group of people who have never met and within days, if not hours, becoming like family. He would like to thank “my family, for telling me, these oh-so-many years ago, to put up or shut up and audition for a show.”

Sean is an employee of APAC in La Crosse and a graduate of the Professional Actors Conservatory in California. He has been seen on the LCT stage as George in The Women of Lockerbie and as an apostle in Godspell. Sean loves “the people this organization draws and includes.” He would like to thank his wife, Robin, for her continued love and support.

Brady Lowe*

Brady is a workforce consultant with Workforce Connections, Inc., and has recently completed his master of business administration degree at Viterbo University. He is making his LCT debut but has been seen elsewhere in Golf: The Musical at the Door Off Broadway Dinner Theatre and as the Big Top Circus Ringmaster at Circus World Museum in Baraboo, Wis. Brady is happy to be a part of this production as a surprise for his mom’s birthday: “Surprise mom!” He would like to thank everyone for coming and “enjoy the show!”

Sheri Eimermann

Sheri is a former business owner and manager who is currently in search of her next endeavor. Sheri was last seen at LCT as an apostle in Godspell. Her hobbies include anything her kids are involved in, her faith, gardening, and cooking. She enjoys theatre because “it is a place where the entire room is alive with movement and music…you feel a need to jump up and join in!” Sheri would like to thank her husband, Tim, and children, Wade, Malorie, and Mitchell, for “allowing me the time to live in my dream.”

Carol is a teacher at Caledonia High School and is making her LCT debut. She has been seen elsewhere as Agnes Gooch in Mame and as Mrs. Boyle in Mousetrap, but her favorite shows have been the ones she’s been in with her son, Colin, including Man of La Mancha and Grease. Carol says she enjoys theatre because she “just loves singing!”

Brenna is a junior at Houston High School and is making her LCT debut. She is involved in dance, music, and speech team and has been seen in Gypsy at Appleseed Community Theatre and as Gertrude in her high school’s production of Seussical. Brenna says she loves the opportunity to work in the theatre with incredible people and to bring the joy of performing to an audience. She would like to thank “the Fam for supporting me and putting up with me!”

Jordan is in her second year at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. She was last seen on the LCT stage in the ensemble of Mame and has elsewhere been seen as Maureen in Honk! and as the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Susan Stinson
Ensemble

Susan works as a registered nurse at Gundersen Lutheran.  She has been seen on the LCT stage in The Sound of Music and has been elsewhere in shows such as Crazy for You, She Loves Me, and The Music Man. Susan likes LCT for “giving our community the gift of live theatre, and it’s Fun Fun Fun!” Her hobbies include keeping busy with her two-year-old, Sammy, and seven-month-old, Sarah. Susan would like to thank her wonderful husband, Gordon, for all his support and “the many hours he had to endure my singing.” She also thanks her family for their love and support.

Allan Johnson

Allan has been an employee of Quillin’s for 11 years. He enjoys going for walks, cooking, and watching football (“Go ‘49er’s!”).  Allan says he loves the theatre because “it’s like another world for me, where you meet new and old actors together.” He has been seen on the LCT stage as Dr. Grayburn in Something’s Afoot and in the ensemble of The Producers. He would like to say “thank you, Mom ’n Dad and Tom for the support you give me for the theatre.”

Mike is a video producer at Itechra and a camera operator at WKBT-TV. He was last seen on the LCT stage as Carmen Ghia in The Producers and as Nigel in Something’s Afoot and was awarded the 2008-2009 LCT Volunteer of the Year Award.  His favorite thing about theatre is that it gives otherwise timid people a chance to step outside of their comfort zones. Mike would like to thank “Greg for the opportunity, my wonderful wife, and darling daughter, Darby, for their support.”

Dustin is a freshman at Viterbo University and is making his onstage debut at LCT after providing musical direction for The Sound of Music and The Producers.  His credits elsewhere include the UW-La Crosse SummerStage production of Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up? as Mike Depki.  His hobbies include playing the piano, playing cards, and theatre. He likes the way theatre brings so many different people together to work as a group.  Dustin would like to thank Greg for the opportunity to perform onstage again and his friends and family for being so encouraging.

Greg Parmeter
Director

Greg earned his M.F.A. from the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His credits include seasons with the Nebraska Repertory Theatre, Virginia Shakespeare Festival, Northern Fort Playhouse, and the Hampstead Stage Company. Previously, Greg was the technical director at Aberdeen Central High School and an instructor/director with T.O.Y.Box Children’s Theatre. Greg also developed a pilot program, ArtSpark, with Trollwood Performing Arts School, Fargo, N.D.

Amanda Grimsled
Stage Manager

Amanda is a 2007 graduate of UW-La Crosse with a B.S. in theatre performance and stage management. By day she is the box office assistant at LCT. She has been seen on the LCT stage, but is thrilled to be making her backstage debut. Amanda enjoys playing the guitar, dancing and, most of all, theatre. She would like to thank Greg and the cast for making the process so enjoyable, friends and family for the love and support, and Scott for all of the support and fun!!

Candace Brown
Musical Director

Candace is the office manager at the Preservation Alliance of La Crosse and is working on her third LCT musical, having previously directed music for Big and Godspell. Elsewhere she was the musical director for West Salem’s Little Shop of Horrors and has been involved in many other musicals and pit orchestras. In her spare time she enjoys reading and is a Hixon House docent.  Candace’s favorite thing about LCT is “always, the people.” She would like to thank Tom and Emily.

Ken Schelper
Assistant Musical Director

Ken is a sales associate at SSE Music and has been seen on the LCT stage in The Producers and as Geoffrey in Something’s Afoot. He has most recently worked as the musical director for Seussical at Appleseed Community Theatre. Ken’s favorite thing about LCT is “the essence of community theatre—people volunteering all of their talents and abilities to produce a show for everyone to enjoy—is an act of beauty and wonder in its purest form.” He would like to thank every musical director he’s ever worked with, for all of the ideas and lessons “I’ve stolen, er, ‘borrowed.’”

Scott A. Jenks
Choreographer

Scott is a member services associate at Community Credit Union and is happy to be choreographing for his first musical at LCT. He has been seen on the LCT stage in The Pajama Game and The Producers and has done work choreographing for the Onalaska and Longfellow Middle School show choirs as well as Central High School’s Central Connection show choir. He would like to thank his Mom and Dad, Amanda for all of her support, Greg for this opportunity, and the cast.

Dillon McArdle
Technical Director/Set Designer

Dillon is from Minneapolis but grew up in Las Vegas. He received a bachelor of arts degree in technical production and design from Viterbo University. Professional credits include the Great River Shakespeare Festival in Winona, Minn., the Virginia Shakespeare Festival in Williamsburg, Va., and the Commonweal Theatre Company in Lanesboro, Minn. Dillon thanks all the volunteers who have given countless hours of time and, most of all, his wife, Megan, who supports him in every way.

Mandy Parmeter
Costume Designer

Mandy is originally from Aberdeen, S.D.  She received her bachelor’s degree in music education from Northern State University, where she discovered a passion for theatre. After a year of teaching music, she moved to Lincoln, Neb., to study costume design. She received her M.F.A. in costume design in May 2005. Her work has taken her from Oklahoma to Washington, Virginia, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. Mandy thanks her husband, Greg, for relocating his life to La Crosse. His support is a true blessing and one of the reasons she loves him so much.

Missy Brendum
Assistant Costumer

Missy is a senior at UW-Stout and LCT’s Costume Design Intern. Her work was also seen here at LCT as the assistant costumer for The Producers and Masquerade. In her spare time, Missy likes drawing, sewing, and spending quality time with my family and friends. She is enjoying her internship at LCT because of “how great the staff, cast, and crew work together to achieve bringing the culture of the theater to La Crosse.” Missy would like to thank Mandy for being a great mentor and her parents and sisters for their support.

Kaye Lehrman
Pianist

Kyle is a piano teacher for SSE Music and an accompanist at Viterbo University who is back at LCT after playing keyboard for the musical Big. She has also done work at the Grand Opera House and The Bell Tower Theatre in Dubuque, Ia. Kaye likes to cook and read in her spare time and enjoys working at LCT because “everyone’s easy to work with.”

Eric Severson
Box Office Coordinator

Eric grew up in the La Crosse area and is glad to be back after decades of adventure. These include attending college; marrying his adorable wife, Ellen; being a father to their snake-loving teen daughter, Jo; editing fantasy fiction novels; attending theological school; creating catalogs for an area publisher; and volunteering for local nonprofits. He credits LCT’s radio play “The Lost World” with tapping a desire to overcome his wallflower-ness. He enjoys singing, officiating at wedding and union ceremonies, and being a progressive influence on the world.

Bonnie Jo Bratina
Properties Master

Bonnie is an associate professor at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse whose favorite LCT credits include playing Vera Simmons in Harvey and being the properties master for Forever Plaid. In her spare time Bonnie Jo enjoys reading, gardening, and cheering on the Packers and the Brewers. Her favorite things about working here at LCT are “using my imagination and creativity” and “all the amazing people I meet and get to work with.” She would like to thank Morrie for “casting me in my first LCT play and making me a part of this wonderful family.”

Tim Harris
Deck Chief

Tim is the general manager for Mr. Sandless Wood Floor Refinishing. He has been seen on the LCT stage in To Kill a Mockingbird as Mr. Gilmer and in Something’s Afoot as Colonel Gilweather. Outside of the theatre Tim enjoys disk golf, making tea, and watching Cubs baseball. He enjoys working at LCT because of the opportunities to meet new people and the friendships that are developed. He would like to thank his parents for their continued support.
