Patron Donations
Patron donations are monetary donations made in addition to the purchase of season tickets. Patron donation income goes into the general operating fund. Patrons receive the following benefits:

  • Tax Deduction: On all contributions over the regular subscription price, you are entitled to a federal income tax deduction.
  • Recognition: Your name will be printed in each of our Mainstage programs as our way of saying "Thank You" for your extra support.
  • No Exchange Fee: Patrons who need to exchange tickets for another performance may do do without paying the usual fee of $1.00 per ticket.

Wish List
Each year in November, we send out a Holiday Wish List of items that we need. Our friends show their generosity and support by sending in donations toward the purchase of some of the items (or in some cases donating the item itself). If you don't receive a Wish List in the mail, please let us know and we'll be sure to send you one.

In-Kind Donations
An in-kind donation is a non-monetary contribution and may include goods or services. Our storage space is extremely limited, so we ask that all potential donors call the appropriate LCT staff member before making a donation. No unsolicited donations may be left at the theatre or costume shop. (For the costume designer, please call 782-5545 or e-mail; for the scenic designer/tech director, plese call 784-9292 or e-mail.)

The Wings Society
LCT has established The Wings Society, a way to honor those who have included LCT in their wills and estate planning. Named after the "wings," the area offstage where an actor prepares to make an entrance, The Wings Society will help the theatre prepare for a strong future.

By continuing to support LCT through planned giving, members also acknowledge that their theatre offers more than entertainment. La Crosse Community Theatre is a place where people seek self-expression, receive acknowledgement for their talents, and discover new purpose in their lives.

If you would like to include LCT in your will, you can have a simple will or trust drawn up at no charge. Attorney Dennis Marcou has offered this service to those who would like to include LCT in their estate plans. For further information, call Dennis at 608-784-8100.

Sponsorships

Our Needs
It is vital that we have sufficient funding to meet not only day-to-day operating expenses, but also the financial obligations required for quality programming. In the past, LCT has relied primarily on ticket revenue to cover production costs. While we have enjoyed community support in this area, a more fiscally responsible course means securing long-term sponsorships. This will strengthen our financial future and allow us to maintain high-caliber productions, as well as ensure that LCT's unique entertainment and educational options remain available to the 7 Rivers Region.

Where Does Your Money Go?
In order to meet the artistic and entertainment goals to which we aspire, it is necessary to commit funds to many different areas of a production. When one considers the amount of money required to support theatrical productions in today’s marketplace, it is obvious that with extra financial support, LCT could attract larger audiences and expand production goals.
